Covid-19 Virus Update

Whilst we are doing everything we can to minimise the transmission of Covid-19 within our Lodge we can not be held responsible if you fall ill or start to show symptoms while on your holiday at Ladram Bay.

We kindly ask that you do not leave anything behind after your stay and pay extra care to check for lost belongings before you leave the Lodge. Any personal effects left behind will sadly need to be disposed of.

Sid Lodge was always thoroughly cleaned after each and every visit, however, we have now upped our cleaning regime to include sanitising all surfaces with approved anti-viral cleaner. To include all handles, light switches and tv remotes etc. All of our soft fabrics and upholstery to be cleaned with a steam cleaner.

General T’s & C’s

We are unfortunately unable to accept pets in the lodge, with very few exceptions, we have had a request from one lady asking if she could bring a small bird in a cage which we feel would be acceptable.

We can take deposit payments via debit or credit card via the website - choose you're required week. All card payments will be issued a full receipt and are managed by official payment authorisation firm ' Stripe'.

To make a booking, we would require a £50 deposit for 7 days, or £100 for more than 7 days. We would require the full amount to be paid 8 weeks before the start of the holiday, or full payment with booking if this is less than eight weeks before the holiday date. If the balance is not received by the due date this would be treated as a cancellation and the deposit would not be refunded.

At the time of making your payment, we would also ask for a refundable payment of £100 as a damage waiver bond. This would be fully refundable 7 days after leaving the property in a clean and undamaged condition. Should the accommodation not be left in a satisfactory condition (clean and with no damage made), pictures will be taken and we reserve the right to hold the deposit to cover the cleaning costs/maintenance costs.

The lodge is fully insured, in the case of genuine accidental damage.

Cancellation Charges

If for some reason you need to cancel your booking, the following charges would apply:
56 days or more before the booking we would refund the total amount paid
From 40 – 55 days before the booking we would refund 75% 0f the holiday cost less deposit paid
From 28 – 49 days before the booking we would refund 50% of the holiday cost less deposit paid
From 8 – 27 days before the booking we would refund 10% of the holiday cost less deposit paid
7 days or less before the booking we would not be able to refund any money.
Various holiday cancellation insurances are available to buy online at reasonable costs.

Conditions of Booking

Our holiday lodge at present sleeps 6 comfortably and we would not accept bookings of more than 6
adults and children included. We do not accept bookings from people under 21 years of age, nor do we accept bookings from “singles groups” consisting of all male or female single people.

What’s included

The cost of your holiday accommodation includes Electricity and water. Gas is controlled by a gas card and can be topped by purchasing units at reception.

All cooking items, crockery and cutlery are provided. Duvets and pillows are supplied, as are an iron and ironing board also a hairdryer.
We do not supply bed linen, towels, tea towels, washing up items or dish washer detergent. Please bring your own toilet rolls and toiletries etc.
We do not supply passes to the swimming pool complex and these would need to be purchased on site at an extra cost.

- Barbeques

We have a gas barbeque at the lodge for your use, if you choose to use it please make sure it is clean
on departure. As Ladram rules state no disposable barbeques are allowed on site.
